Joe has a professional background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with an emphasis on mineral mapping, geology, civil engineering projects, and Federal and state critical infrastructure data development. He has worked as a GIS Analyst for more than 10 years, and has an academic background in GIS, satellite and aerial imagery, and multimedia instructional technology. He spent 5 years as a Geographic Information Officer performing support for Homeland Security and Emergency Management, 2 years in a state tax office supporting mineral parcel development, and 2 years supporting environmental GIS data generation and attribution. He has also supported military GIS infrastructure and engineering programs for several months, and performed private contract GIS work. Joe is Research analist specializing in topographical mapping in locating areas of potential entitlements that may contain subterranean natural resources and potential value.
